Arc Raiders isn't free or on Game Pass, but here's how to get it for cheap
As someone who lives in constant fear of losing my hard-earned gear in extraction shooters, Arc Raiders is a refreshingly approachable take on the genre, even if it throws giant robots and loot-hungry rivals at you. While the latest from The Finals studio Embark isn't free to play, or on Game Pass for that matter, you can still grab it at a decent discount over at Fanatical.
After enjoying the bombastic matches of one of the best FPS games around, The Finals, I was already excited for what Embark Studios would do next. I wasn't expecting an extraction shooter, in all honesty, but I'm here for it. Based on my brief time with Arc Raiders so far, it's a polished, intense experience that doesn't feel as daunting or as punishing as the likes of Escape from Tarkov.

You play as a Raider (funnily enough), looking to scavenge a robot-ravaged Earth. You'll leave the safety of the underground in search of loot to gradually build your arsenal and take on even tougher fights. The action really shines when you buddy up to face off against its building-sized bots. But as you push further into your current run, you'll eventually encounter other Raiders looking to take your loot as easy pickings, and they could arrive at any moment. The stakes are always high, but that makes the adrenaline of narrowly escaping with your life and gear all the more exciting.
It just launched on October 30, but you can already grab Arc Raiders for only $34.39 / £26.65 on Fanatical. That's a 14% saving and cheaper than anywhere else we can find it.
Before your first run, I'd recommend checking out our guide on the Arc Raiders skill tree to start on the right foot. You should also read the Arc Raiders system requirements to make sure your PC can run it smoothly.
We're over in the PCGamesN Discord if you want to share your favorite moments from Embark's latest game.
