Top Battlefield Redsec meta - best weapons for the battle royale

Top Battlefield Redsec meta - best weapons for the battle royale
What are the Redsec meta weapons? Not all guns are created equal, and you'll soon realize that when you pick up an unfamiliar floor loot weapon and end up spraying your magazine halfway up a wall. Recognizing what to prioritize when searching for ground loot and knowing what to add to your custom loadout selection is vital if you want to find success in Fort Lyndon.
What makes the list of best BF6 guns doesn't necessarily translate over to the battle royale format - more open space and the inclusion of armor have made some of our go-to weapons nigh on unusable. Now that we've racked up plenty of wins in the newest game mode, we've compiled a list of the top five Redsec meta guns to outlast the competition.
Kord 6P67
The Kord is arguably the best assault rifle available right now, with minimal recoil, impressive range, and a relatively fast fire rate. A weapon with few downsides, this one should always be a go-to when you hit up a custom weapon drop.
Here are the best Kord attachments:
- Lightened Suppressor - Muzzle
- 415mm Prototype - Barrel
- Classic Vertical - Underbarrel
- 30RND Fast Mag - Magazine
- OSA-7 1.00x - Scope
KTS100 MK8
LMGs have found a place high up in the Redsec pecking order, and for good reason. The KTS is arguably the most well-rounded of the lot, featuring high damage and little recoil. It uses a magazine rather than a belt-fed system, too, so reloading takes a fraction of the time.
Here are the best KTS100 MK8 attachments:
- Lightened Suppressor - Muzzle
- 508mm MK8 - Barrel
- Slim Angled - Underbarrel
- 60RND Magazine - Magazine
- FMJ - Ammunition
- SU-230 LPVO - Scope
PW5A3
While SMGs don't have the potency in Redsec as they do in multiplayer, it can still pay dividends to have one by your side for close-quarters combat. The PW5A3 is the perfect all-rounder thanks to its excellent hipfire and ADS accuracy.
Here are the best PW5A3 attachments:
- Convertor - Muzzle
- Basic - Barrel
- Alloy Vertical - Underbarrel
- OSA-7 1.00x - Scope
- Synthetic - Ammunition
- 30RND Fast Mag - Magazine
M2010 ESR
There are a ton of open spaces in Fort Lyndon, and without a ranged option at your disposal, you're going to be caught short most of the time. The M2010 ESR is still the best sniper option, with its high bullet velocity and snappy handling.
Here are the best M2010 ESR attachments:
- Lightened Suppressor - Muzzle
- 26″ Carbon - Barrel
- 5RND Magazine - Magazine
- Match Grade - Ammunition
- DLC Bolt - Ergonomics
- SSDS 6.00x - Scope
M250
Another LMG, but in a different style. While the KTS opts for controllability over everything else, the M250 is for those who prefer raw damage. Our setup significantly reduces gun kick, although you'll still need to utilize the environment effectively to maximize the M250's potential.
Here are the best M250 attachments:
- Lightened Suppressor - Muzzle
- 556mm Prototype - Barrel
- 6H64 Vertical - Underbarrel
- 50RND Belt Pouch - Magazine
- NGFC LPVO - Scope
Now you know which weapons to prioritize in Redsec, it's time to get to work studying the Redsec map and learn how to get your custom loadout. We also have guides on how to get Redsec vehicles and how to respawn teammates, because things are bound to go sideways at some point.
