Win an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card for you and a friend

It might be ridiculously expensive, but let's face it, we'd all love an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 if we could have one for free, and you might be able to do just that if you enter this new GPU competition. Not only will you get an RTX 5090 card to keep for yourself if you win this Nvidia Summer of RTX giveaway, but you'll also get one for your buddy.

With 32GB of VRAM and a monstrously powerful GPU, this Nvidia card puts the performance of every other current-gen GPU to shame – there's just one problem, and that's the cost. The MSRP is already expensive at $1,999, but real-world prices are considerably higher, particularly in the US, thanks to scarce supply.

The price doesn't matter if you can win one for free, though, and this competition also gives you the chance to win an Nvidia-made Founders Edition card, which only takes up two slots, and has a remarkably quiet cooler.

To enter, you just need to visit the official Nvidia GeForce page on your chosen social media channel, and find the post with the RTX 5090 competition. If you're using X, that means you need to go here, for Facebook go here, and for Instagram go here. You then need to simply reply to the post, including the hashtag #GeForceSummer, and tagging the friend you'd like to win with you, while telling Nvidia why they deserve an upgrade.

Nvidia says it will be announcing several giveaways over the next few weeks, as part of its Summer of RTX promotion, including many RTX 5060 GPUs and 26 RTX 5070 Founders Edition cards, so keep an eye on the company's social media channels if you want to be in with a chance of winning a new GPU upgrade. The competition closes at 5pm (PT) on September 20, 2025, and Nvidia says it will select and announce the winners on (or around) Halloween, on October 31, 2025.
