Inside the Magical World of This Year's Magnolia Silobration

This year’s Magnolia Silobration is in full swing—marking the busiest time of the year for the Gaines’ Silos in Waco, TX. 

The Silobration celebrates the anniversary of the opening of Magnolia Market, the Silos’ largest shop. The free event features local vendors, live music, and pop-up shops and stands from Magnolia partner brands. This year’s Silobration runs from Thursday, Oct. 23, to Saturday, Oct. 25, and there's fun in store for everyone.

Bites to Eat

You can’t miss all of the food options at Silobration. Magnolia Press and Silos Baking Co. will be operating all throughout the event, and the Coffee & Cupcakes food truck is a great option to grab select Magnolia sweets and drinks if you’re not ready to go inside just yet. The Silos’ Food Truck Park also offers a range of local vendors with loads of meals and drinks to enjoy all day long. 

Stop by nearby restaurant Magnolia Table to see its unique fall menu while you’re in town for the event. Or, get your whole family in on the fun by ordering a Silobration box of cupcakes from Silos Baking Co., featuring $5 off six fall-flavored cupcakes. 

Behind the Scenes

The Silobration also offers visitors an insider’s look into parts of the Silos that can’t be accessed year-round. Rooftop lounge passes will net you a gorgeous view of the entire Silobration (plus drinks and snacks, too).

You can even tour Chip’s former private office, which now serves as an archive of hundreds of favorite Magnolia memories. These areas would normally be closed to the public, but the Silobration gives visitors an excuse to peek inside the hidden secrets of the Silos.

Polaroid photographers will be roaming the grounds to help you grab the perfect photo to take home, and you can write your own Magnolia postcards at the postcard station.

Shop 'Til You Drop—and Take Home Souvenirs

There are a whole lot of things to love at this year’s Silobration—over 80 local vendors will take part in the celebration, offering everything from clothing to gifts and jewelry. Rug retailer Loloi, a Magnolia partner, will be offering their products at a booth this year; even Chip and Jo’s Hotel 1928 will get in on the action with a booth full of souvenirs.

This year’s Silobration also has a very special Magnolia product on display: Joanna Gaines’ very own Barbie doll will be available to shop at the event for the first time. Her Barbie won’t be released to the public until December, but you can purchase the doll (and her very own groovy pink townhouse) ahead of time exclusively at SIlobration. 

Even FedEx will be getting in on this year’s Silobration by offering a shipping stand outside of Magnolia Market. Don’t be shy about loading your cart up with goodies from all across the Silos—just bring your items to be packed up and shipped by FedEx on the spot. Alternatively, you can also make use of the Silos Bag Drop to hold your items while you shop.
