Dating back to the 1800s, Brandy Snap cookie originated in England and become widely known for their thin, lacy texture and delicate crunch. The dessert grew in popularity during the Victorian era when it was a staple at afternoon tea. Today, the cookie is filled with sweetened whipped cream and often served at special occasions and holidays.
