How to find and delete Cadet Corbin's records in The Outer Worlds 2

How do you find and delete Cadet Corbin's appraisal records in The Outer Worlds 2? During the opening quest of the game, you'll speak to a guard as you try to infiltrate the Skip Labs. He'll try to stop you, but you can persuade him to let you if you offer to find and delete his less-than-positive appraisal records from a terminal. The only problem is that you're given no information about where exactly the terminal is.

The side quest in The Outer Worlds 2 is called The Cadet's Degrading Dilemma, and it is automatically added to your journal when you speak to him. You may need certain Outer Worlds 2 skills for him to accept the deal in the RPG game, and it's easy to miss the terminal the records are on.

How to find the terminal with Cadet Corbin's records

After you speak to Corbin, head into the Skip Labs and follow the objective marker until you reach a large room with various generator-like machines inside. The terminal is in the room where you're first introduced to sneaking and enemy awareness levels.

At the far end of the room, you'll see a door to a small room on the left after an archway, before some stairs going down. Head inside and look for a terminal in that room.

How to delete Cadet Corbin's appraisal

Interact with the terminal and you'll see 'Cecil Iver Corbin, Cadet 4th Class' as the first option. Click on that to see his files, including the appraisal you're trying to delete. Select the appraisal file and then the option to delete it. You'll be asked if you're sure you want to do that, as it'll remove all records, so confirm that you do.

All of Cadet Corbin's records will be deleted, completing the 'The Cadet's Degrading Dilemma' side quest. You'll be given the XP reward and can continue the introductory main quest.
