The Outer Worlds 2 map - all planets and locations
What does The Outer Worlds 2 map look like? When you set any game in space, it's always tempting to know how much of the galaxy you're able to explore. After all, you're an Earth Directorate agent on a mission to save the entire universe; it only stands to reason that you're going to need to head to several planets along the way.
As you get through all The Outer Worlds 2 quests, you will have to make some big decisions in the RPG game, decisions that will shape the way factions treat you. By taking a good look at The Outer Worlds 2 map, you can get a rough idea of what you can expect on each planet to help make those decisions slightly easier.
The Outer Worlds 2 map expands as you make your way through the main quests, giving you access to new planets every time you finish up each of the primary missions. We're still on our way to seeing the entire game, so there may be some planets missing from our map, but we'll be sure to add them as soon as we discover them.
Here's a breakdown of the map, including what planets you can explore, and a detailed look at what you will see when your ship touches down on new land.
Here are all the planets on The Outer Worlds 2 map:
- Eden
- Dorado
- The ACS Undisputed Claim
- Free Market Station
- Cloister
- Praetor
Eden
The first planet you arrive on after waking up from a ten-year-long coma. Eden is said to be the largest and most populated colonized moon, featuring an atmosphere not too dissimilar to Earth.
Dorado
The second planet you gain access to following the 'The Saboteur of Paradise' quest, Dorado is known for its desert climate, filled with rocky terrain and precious ore-related resources.
The ACS Undisputed Claim
Auntie's Choice home base, ACS Undisputed Claim is where you'll find the largest trading hub in the galaxy. If you're looking at a building, chances are you're going to be staring at an advertisement for something you could spend money on.
Free Market Station
If you're after stolen goods, the Free Market Station has what you need. Built on the crashed husk of an Auntie's Choice ship, this location is operated by the Sub Rosa faction.
Cloister
Both Cloister and Praetor are unlocked after completing the 'Fiends in High Places' main mission. Cloister is an ice planet, the perfect environment for the Archive, a massive supercomputer that utilizes the planet's permafrost to cool down its machinery.
Praetor
Featuring constant dangerous electrical storms thanks to the high levels of atmospheric voltage, Praetor is one of the most dangerous planets you will step foot on. You'll also have to watch out for the nocturnal predators that stalk the planet's surface.
That's all you need to know about The Outer Worlds 2 map, but stay tuned as we'll be adding more to this guide later next week. In the meantime, we highly recommend reading our The Outer Worlds 2 skills, traits, and perks guides to help you construct the perfect build.
