Can you play as Ryu in Ninja Gaiden 4?
Yes, Ryu is a playable character in Ninja Gaiden 4. In Story Mode, you play as Ryu from the beginning of Chapter 14 to the end of Chapter 18. You automatically unlock him as a fully playable character after you complete the game for the first time.
While you still won't be able to play as Ryu in a new playthrough of Story Mode, you can select him in all Challenge Modes, including Chapter Select, Purgatory Select, and Trials.
