How do you solve the Bloodlines 2 Fingerless Hand puzzle? The mysterious Gardener is just within reach; so close you can literally taste his vitae. But, the mistress of Seattle hardly skimps on torture, so to finally break him free of his shackles you'll have to reunite an eerie, desiccated hand with four of its five digits. There's a little bit of wriggling required to get this one to work, so let me break it down for you.

So you're hot on the heels of The Gardner, one of Bloodlines 2's most mysterious people of interest. He's been whispering in your head since the RPG's story began, taunting you with sunflower fields and a towering tree. In order to free him from his bonds, you'll need to head deep into the underground and explore a long-forgotten "pleasure palace," dodging Hunters and Unbirthed along the way.

In order to free The Gardener, you'll need to return four fingers to a desiccated hand that's fixed on an altar. You'll need to use 'V' to switch to Heightened Senses, locate various Sabbat markings throughout the temple, then maneuver yourself to ensure that the drawings line up perfectly. Doing so will spawn a finger, highlighted in blue mist, which you can then summon using your Telekinesis (bound to 'Q').

The locations of the fingers are:

• Location 1: When looking at the Altar, head into the room directly on the left. The symbol is painted on the wall in front of you.
• Location 2: Leave that room, then look directly right into the row of bookcases. The symbol is splattered across multiple shelves.
  • If coming from the Altar, turn left, walk a few paces, and turn left again.
• Location 3: From the altar, descend the stairs and take the door on the right. You'll see the marking, but need to jump onto the staircase's bannister pillar to align it.
• Location 4: When facing the altar, go directly to the right. Drop down into the room and turn; the symbol is painted across the ruined stairs. Use the rocky outcrop at the back of the room to line it up.

From here, take the fingers back to the hand. Then, you'll finally find out who The Gardner is, and what he's up to - it's been a long time coming.
