Other than Chitose, who doesn't appear on the free banner, every character on the Stella Sora tier list above can be obtained for free on the new account starting banner. That's covered in the Stella Sora reroll steps below.

Note that the Stella Sora tier list ranks only the four and five-star characters available at launch. It does not include equippable discs and other accessories.

With duplicate pulls unlocking new passive abilities, you'll find that some four-star characters rank higher than rarer five-star characters. That's mostly down to it being easier to unlock these game-changing passive abilities, which helps them perform a little higher than characters that are harder to obtain.

How to reroll in Stella Sora

Right after the prologue, you're ushered into performing a free 10-pull summon for your starting lineup. While this starting banner pulls from a slightly smaller pool than the standard banner, the results aren't set in stone, making it a great soft reroll opportunity for those short on time.

In the Stella Sora tutorial banner, you can repeat it 20 times and save the results of five before deciding which one to keep, with seemingly no limitations other than potentially being limited to one five-star character per pull.

If you want to carry on after this point to pull in the standard banner, climb to player level 4 and complete the first page of the Growth missions to claim 1,000 more gems.

Claim another 1,000 from the mailbox as part of the launch rewards, then any you can get from Stella Sora codes. Pull for what you can, then hop into Settings, then Account, User Center, and finally 'Delete Account' to start again from the beginning.

Who should you reroll for in Stella Sora?

When rerolling in Stella Sora, aim for one five-star damage character from the S-tier and a handful of top-tier 4-star characters, preferably from the Vanguard or Support roles, like Ridge, Freesia, or Minova. The aim is to form a solid three-person team featuring a Vanguard, Support, and Attacker.

A four-star disc that matches one of the pulled characters is a bonus, but doesn't need to be a priority. And don't worry about saving too many: you can always replace any of the five saved pulls if you need to save another.
