Want to revive your party members in Elden Ring Nightreign? There are some quirks in FromSoftware's first foray into a multiplayer centric game that may not be immediately obvious to some people – the biggest being the ability to revive your teammates.

As you work your way through all the Elden Ring Nightreign bosses, there will be moments where someone in your party needs a helping hand. The revive mechanic is understandably very important, especially in a soulslike game like Elden Ring Nightreign where you're expected to die often. To help your teammates get back on their feet, here's what you need to know to revive party members in Elden Ring Nightreign.

To revive your party members in Elden Ring Nightreign, you need to attack your teammates when they're in the near-death state. As you hit your downed partner, you will deplete their death gauge with each attack.

When someone in your party loses all their health, they are forced into a near-death state, forcing them to crawl on the floor until someone helps them up. During this time, you will see a death gauge appear, represented by a circle split into three segments. Each time you enter the near-death state, a death gauge segment turns purple, which in turn makes it more difficult to revive your fallen party member.

You can reset your death gauge by touching a Site of Grace anywhere on the Elden Ring Nightreign map. If you don't revive your teammate in time, the fallen player will respawn back at the last Site of Grace you visited. Dying causes you to lose some experience, and the Runes you earned will appear in the location you died in. Be warned, certain enemies can pick up your Runes, forcing you to take them down if you want to reclaim them.

Elden Ring Nightreign automatic revival

The latest Elden Ring Nightreign patch notes has introduced an important change to solo play, introducing a new mechanic called 'Automatic Revival Upon Defeat'. This allows you to revive once during each night boss battle, but remember, this effect only applies to solo players.

That's all you need to revive your party members in Elden Ring Nightreign. While you're here, you should read our Elden Ring Nightreign classes guide to find out who you're able to play as in the RPG game. We also have an Elden Ring Nightreign skins guide, revealing the ways you can customize the look of your favorite class.
