How do you spot in BF6? You could be the fastest gun in the West, but if you don't know where the enemy is, you might struggle when it comes to the large-scale warfare of Battlefield 6. One way to combat that is with information - knowing the whereabouts of your enemy is half the battle, and lets you plan your attack accordingly.
As we mentioned, having one of the best BF6 weapons won't do you much good if you're completely unaware of where you're supposed to be looking. Flanking maneuvers can be totally negated by good spotting, and deploying BF6 class gadgets like mortars can be extremely effective if they know where to aim. There are several ways to spot enemy players in Battlefield 6, they are:
- Ping soldiers or vehicles with the middle mouse button, or the Q key.
- The Recon class will spot any enemy players and vehicles when aiming down sights.
- The Recon Drone will passively spot enemy players in the center of its aiming reticle.
- The Motion Sensor will spot any enemy players that come within a few meters of it.
- Proximity Grenades do a similar job, although they only last a few seconds.
It's no surprise that the Recon class is the best if you're trying to spot as many players as possible. Utilizing the Motion Sensor on a control point is an easy way to rack up spots on an objective, and even if you're missing your long-range shots, you can be safe in the knowledge that those enemies will be at the very least spotted for the rest of your team.
