Pushing and maintaining points requires a weapon that can deal extreme damage up close, and there is few better than the PW7A2.

It takes a few levels to unlock, but once you get it, you'll have a close-range gun that can tear your enemies to shreds before they have time to reply.

• Underbarrel: Alloy Vertical - 20 points

The PW7A2 is strong straight out of the box, boasting a high rate of fire and surprisingly controllable handling. Our attachment setup employs the Alloy Vertical and the Convertor, both of which tighten the small amount of recoil present and extend the range slightly, so you can engage in mid-range, as well as short-range encounters.

Here is the best class loadout to use with the PW7A2:

• Class: Engineer
• Field Spec: Anti-Armor
• Secondary: P18
• Gadget One: RPG-7V2
• Gadget Two: AV Mine
• Throwable: Frag
• Melee: Combat Knife

The Engineer is the obvious pick for such a fast-firing SMG, with the improved hip-fire control vital for those close-range encounters. Because you'll want to be in and around the combat area with this SMG, taking AV Mines means you'll be best placed to lay a trap for any incoming vehicles, and although the RPG-7V2 can't lock onto enemy aircraft, motorized vehicles won't stand a chance if they get too close.
