You have to pick your battles very carefully in Battlefield 6; oftentimes, your primary weapon will dictate how and when you can fight, and you'll be caught short if an enemy pushes you at a range you can't compete at. The AK-205 allows you to take on all comers, especially if you use our setup.

Players are still figuring out what the best BF6 weapons are, but after the hours we've put in, it's easy to see that the AK-205 is up there among them. With unerring accuracy and a blistering rate of fire, it's a Jack of all trades in the FPS game, and one that you should always have in your back pocket in Battlefield 6.

Here is the best attachment setup for the AK-205:

• Muzzle: Lightened Suppressor - 30 points
• Barrel: 314mm Prototype - 10 points
• Underbarrel: Alloy Vertical - 20 points
• Magazine: 40RND Magazine - 25 points
• Ammunition: FMJ - 5 points
• Scope: Baker 3.00x - 10 points

Because the AK-205 has the lowest per-bullet damage of any of the carbines, it's imperative that we lock down any recoil so every shot hits its intended destination. The Lightened Suppressor and Alloy Vertical reduce recoil, with the suppressor removing any minimap pings when you fire. The 314mm Prototype barrel helps with sustained fire, which you'll be able to pull off with the 40RND Magazine.

Here is the best class loadout to use with the AK-205:

• Class: Assault
• Field Spec: Breacher
• Secondary: P18
• Gadget One: M87A1
• Gadget Two: Assault Ladder
• Throwable: Frag
• Melee: Sledgehammer

Finding a good firing position is the name of the game here, and with the Sledgehammer and the Assault Ladder, you'll be able to mold and mount your surroundings to find the best angle of attack. Keep the M87A1 shotgun in your back pocket for when things get a bit too close for comfort.
