Adding a new game to your library, especially one that exceeded your expectations, certainly feels like treasure. Fortunately, you don't need to watch out for traps, fight off Nazis, and avoid almost certain death to grab this prize, as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is at its lowest price right now – although, you do have to be fast.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle takes many of the best tropes from FPS games, but feels like a wholly unique blend of sub-genres. It's part immersive-sim, but casual enough for newcomers, there's a stealth focus, but it's not a huge requirement, and lastly, it also has puzzles, punching Nazis, and a decent set of firefights to keep the action going.

This action-adventure game is your typical Indy adventure, as you play the charismatic and daring adventurer himself on a race against Emmerich Voss and his legion of Nazis to find the artefacts of the Great Circle. This leads you into a globe-trotting narrative that is full of charm, and an unapologetically evil villain, which is a nice change from antagonists with back stories or good reasons for doing what they do. In fact, I'd argue he's Doctor Jones' best enemy yet.

It helps that Troy Baker's version of the archaeologist is breathtakingly similar to Harrison Ford's, so much so that you're likely to forget that it isn't him. It also helps that the rest of the cast gives a stand-up performance, from Marios Gavrilis' taunting comments as Voss to Tony Todd's imposing and brutal Locus (his final videogame role).

However, what Indiana Jones and the Great Circle does best, and where it sets itself apart from your typical action game, is the exploration between battles with Nazis. Clever puzzles and an adventure oozing with atmosphere help you slip immersively into Indy's shoes (or hat, let's be honest), but the melee combat and using old-fashioned guns make that eventual fight all the more entertaining.

I'm not alone in my thoughts, as Paul Kelly says that the game is "a majestic use of the license, [and] the gold standard for movie-adjacent videogames going forward" in our 9/10 Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review. Even after scanning the upcoming PC games list, waiting for my next experience, Indy's latest global treasure hunt is calling for me to return.

If you'd like to grab one of the best PC games in recent months at a huge discount, you can get Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for just $48.29 / £41.39 at Fanatical. However, you don't have long, as this deal ends on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Make sure to check out the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle missions list to see what's in store for you once you get started. Alternatively, you can take a peek at our Indiana Jones and the Great Circle length guide to get a rough idea of how long Doctor Jones' latest story will take you.
