Grab this flash Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 gaming PC for just $799, if you're quick

Grab this flash Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 gaming PC for just $799, if you're quick
Proving that you don't need to spend over the odds to get yourself a solid new rig, this CyberPower budget gaming PC deal at Walmart combines all the essentials, including one of the latest Nvidia Blackwell gaming GPUs, and, best of all, its already-generous price has just been reduced by a massive $180.99. That means you can buy a full PC, complete with an AMD Ryzen 5 CPU, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and 16GB of DDR5 RAM, for just $799. Unsurprisingly, according to Walmart, over 100 people have already snapped up this deal since yesterday, so we recommend getting in quick.
That's a remarkably low price for a whole new rig with a brand new GPU, sitting well below even the cheapest rigs in our guide to buying the best gaming PC. However, it still ticks every box for playing the latest games at 1,920 x 1,080. The key component, of course, is the Nvidia GPU, and, as we found in our RTX 5060 review, this graphics card copes well with the latest games at decent settings, and it has full support for the Nvidia DLSS 4 tech suite as well.
That means it also supports multi frame gen, Nvidia's latest AI tech that smooths out your frame rate by inserting up to three extra frames between each duo of frames that your GPU renders. We found it works really well in Doom The Dark Ages, where the RTX 5060 already averages 70fps at 1,920 x 1,080 using the Ultra Nightmare graphics preset without any help from DLSS at all, but this figure rockets all the way up to 238fps once you enable DLSS 4 upscaling on the Quality setting, and then set multi-frame gen going.
Our one main criticism of this GPU is that it only comes with 8GB of VRAM as standard, which locks out ultra or even high settings in some of the latest games, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. However, it's still fine in the vast majority of games - you just may need to turn down the settings a little now and then, and it's still a solid GPU in a PC at this price.
Meanwhile, the AMD Ryzen 5 8400F GPU gives you six of AMD's strong Zen 4 cores, and they can boost to up to 4.7GHz. That's plenty of cores for gaming, although it's worth bearing in mind that this CPU only has half the L3 cache of a full-fat six-core CPU such as the Ryzen 5 7600X, with just 16MB instead of 32MB. There are undoubtedly better gaming CPUs available, but as with the GPU, it's a great starting point in a PC that costs just $799.
The spec is rounded off with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, giving you enough room to install a few of the latest games. Our only substantial criticism of this PC spec is the 16GB of RAM. It's plenty fast enough at 6,000MT/s, and 16GB is enough to run most of the latest games as well. However, it's supplied on a single DIMM, which means it won't be running in dual-channel mode, which can have an impact on gaming performance. It's fine to get you started, but we'd advise upgrading to a 32GB dual-channel kit from our guide to buying the best gaming RAM at a later date.
It's even all installed in a neat-looking case, with front and side windows giving you a full view of the insides, and four RGB fans making it glow. There are two fans in the front, one in the back, and another one on the CPU cooler.
