Where to find Adamant in Hades 2

Where is Hades 2 Adamant? There is so much stuff in Hades 2, you would be forgiven for letting it wash over you and not concerning yourself with the bits of tat you pick up on a run. That is, until you need something very specific for an upgrade, or an unlock, and you don't have it. Adamant is one of those things.

It isn't long into Hades 2 when you realise that there is an empty weapon spot in the circle - it taunted us for a while, and no matter how many Hades 2 bosses we dispatched below, we couldn't find the ingredients needed to unlock the Black Coat. You need Adamant to unlock this, amongst other things, but where can you find it?

Hades 2 Adamant location

You can find Adamant on Mount Olympus; it will appear randomly and must be mined with your Crescent Pick. Look for several shards of orange crystal jutting from a black base - it can often blend into the background, so keep your eyes peeled.

Adamant is primarily used to unlock the Black Coat, but is also required to upgrade the Aspect of Melinoe for the Black Coat, with a whopping 35 Adamant needed to max out the weapon. You will also need Adamant to upgrade the Argent Skull and for an incantation at the cauldron.
