Grow a Garden seed stages - How to get, grow and evolve GaG evo seeds
How do Grow a Garden seed stages work? Added on September 27 as the Fall Market shuttered, evolving (or "evo") seeds add extra stages of care to the standard growth mechanic of the hit Roblox game. These multi-tier plants are forever a work in progress: the more love you put into them, the more rewards you'll be showered with in return. at least for the two weeks following GaG patch 1.25.0.
Like past Grow a Garden events, the seed stages update offers a plethora of random rewards for those who turn in the latest fruits. Rewards include rare seed packs, eggs, and expensive gear. Check the latest Grow a Garden pet tier list and Grow a Garden seed tier list to see what's worth aiming for. And grab a few easy freebies with Grow a Garden codes before they expire.
What are Stage 1 Seeds in Grow a Garden?
Stage 1 Seeds in Grow a Garden are specific seed types that can evolve into larger and more detailed species over time. Rather than the standard one-and-done style plant that you usually sow and harvest, you can control the size and growth rate of an Evo seed as it grows into its next stage.
How do you get Stage 1 Seeds in Grow a Garden?
Stage 1 seeds are available from Samuel in the middle of the map. He mans a new seed shop that periodically refreshes just like the rest.
His rotating stock consists of four different Stage 1 seeds; the common Evo Beetroot, uncommon Evo Blueberry, rare Evo Pumpkin, and legendary Evo Mushroom.
How do you grow Stage 1 seeds in Grow a Garden?
You start growing Stage 1 seeds like any other GaG seed. Just buy a seed from Samuel, sow it in your garden, and wait.
You can encourage the growth of Evo seeds by feeding them other plants, and speed up their growth time with certain Gear items.
To feed an Evo plant, approach it with a crop in your hand. A "tend" prompt should appear. Hold the stated button to have your Evo plant absorb the plant in your hand, boosting its final size by the amount viewed above it.
How do you evolve an Evo Plant in Grow a Garden?
Once your Evo seed hits 100%, you need to harvest it like any other. But that's not the end of its life. Rather than selling it to make a tidy profit, take it to Samuel, the Evo Seed vendor in the middle of the map.
With the harvested Evo Seed in your hand, speak to him and select the Evolve option to get a Stage II seed of the same type in return. You'll also get one or more of the corresponding items from a single cell of the applicable column below:

What do I do with a Stage IV plant?
At launch, there's nothing to do with Evo Seeds that reach their final form. A Stage IV Evo plant in Grow a Garden can't be handed back to Samuel for a final set of rewards. It's merely for collection purposes. You're free to sell it for sheckles, or trade it to players who aren't willing to wait to grow their own.
For now, that's all you need to know about growing seed stages in Grow a Garden. We expect more Evo seeds to drop with the next Grow a Garden update. Until then, check out the best Roblox games to play while you wait for your current crop of Evo seeds to mature to the next stage.
