It's a summer of frozen drinks.

Starbucks’ summer menu is always evolving, whether it's a new horchata drink introduced this May or the return of two summer refreshers. Now the lineup expands again with four new Frappuccino flavors, all topped with a creamy cold foam.

Starbucks just gave us an exclusive first look at the upcoming additions, set to launch nationwide this July. Each builds on popular menu items with subtle updates in texture and flavor.

Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino

The Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino includes two of Starbucks’ most iconic flavors—chocolate and caramel. The drink is most comparable to the Salted Caramel Mocha, a longtime fall favorite. But this version, like all Frappuccinos, is blended with ice for a lighter, summer-ready drink ideal for anyone who likes to sip their dessert. The “strato” refers to the cold foam layered on top of the Frappuccino base, and it adds a smooth, airy finish that complements the drink’s signature icy texture.

Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino

Berries and matcha have become a strong pairing online, as seen with this spring’s Cherry Matcha Latte. And pretty soon, you’ll be able to drink them in frappuccino form, complete with that icy, blended finish. The Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino is not very coffee-centric: It’s layered with earthy green tea matcha and sweet strawberry strato foam. Starbucks has had a lot of recent success with matcha, and this new menu item is perfect for people who prefer a cold, light pick-me-up with less caffeine.

Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino

The Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino is an extension of one of Starbucks’ most popular drinks, the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. This blended, icy beverage features a rich, brown sugar-flavored Frappuccino that’s topped with a creamy strato with a smooth, cloud-like quality. Of all the July additions, this option will taste the most like coffee and shouldn’t be quite as sweet as the others.

Firework Frappuccino

Last but not least, Starbucks is going to offer a Firework Frappuccino just in time for Independence Day, and it’s a fresh twist on the Summer-Berry Refresher. Other refreshers are iced, but this blended Frappuccino takes those flavors and turns them into a kind of slushy. The blue base is likely a fruit-forward sip layered with raspberry pearls resembling bursting fireworks. The boba-like spheres add a playful, chewy contrast to the smooth, frozen blend. We’re guessing this option is caffeine-free, making it the perfect go-to drink for kids on their way to the carnival or any other fun summer activity.
