Rimworld is one of my favorite colony sims of all time, and the actual Rimworld system requirements are so accessible that most gaming laptops and PCs should have no issues getting the game to run. However, start packing on the DLCs or loading up some of the communitys mods en masse and youll encounter a CPU nightmare.If, however, youre only interested in the vanilla Rimworld experience, the game runs incredibly well on old hardware, even with the inclusion of the Odyssey, Biotech, Anomaly, Royalty, and Ideology DLC packs.
