It has a single stainless steel bowl with a compact pump design, and an easy to access filter means that cleaning is straightforward and involved absolutely no swearing on my part. There is a window on the front so you can easily keep an eye on the water level, and a warning light to let you know when the filter needs replacing. Hot tip the light came on for me immediately after setting it up, but you just have to double-click the function button to reset!You have the option of having the fountain run intermittently or on the motion-activated setting, which worked really well as soon as the cats started to approach. This saves the battery, which is charged using a universal USB-C cable. Because of the intermittent or motion sensor functions, the battery should last up to 60 days before you need to charge it again.If your cats are well-behaved and not prone to chewing power cables, you also have the option of leaving the unit plugged in and having the fountain running continuously. Do be aware that without the bowls attached, the unit is a little unsteady; this is not something recommended by Oneisall, it is simply something that I personally found really useful for my clowder.
