The ALDI Find I Always Grab for No-Stress Dinners Is Back on Shelves—for Now

As an avid ALDI shopper—along with many of you—I have my weekly grocery trip must-grabs. Fans also know there are ALDI Finds, or limited time offerings, that hit the aisles and end up in our carts whether we planned it or not.

A lot of these are decorations and home goods that suit the season. There are also ALDI Finds for foodies around the store that you could miss if you're not actively looking. The one item I never pass up: Season's Choice Eggplant Cutlets. It's a frozen product that tastes fresh, which means I can have Eggplant Parmesan (one of my all-time favorite meals) without the big mess and time-consuming process of hand-breading eggplant slices and frying them.

What Are Eggplant Cutlets?

These eggplant cutlets are coated with Italian-seasoned bread crumbs that are already cooked and frozen. Each one-pound box has enough to feed a family with five servings, though I could probably eat an entire box myself. The frozen case usually has the frozen eggplant fries as well, which are also very tasty.

How Do You Use Them?

If you're also a fan of eggplant Parmesan, you can use them to build a baked version for an easy weeknight meal. For a more relaxed evening, my preferred way to prep is by simply baking them until crispy and broiling a little Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese on top, which takes about 20 minutes total. (You can also toss them in the air-fryer!)

I typically serve it over a bed of noodles tossed in marinara and always add some extra Parm on top. If I have them, I also like tearing and sprinkling some fresh basil leaves on. Enjoyed with a side salad and garlic bread makes for the easiest Italian dinner from the comfort of your home.

When the ALDI Find Eggplant Cutlets Are in Stock

This ALDI Find reappeared in late August, and as of September 2, the cutlets were available at my local store (just four boxes fewer now—sorry!). Keep an eye out for them, as once they're sold out, they're out. But they do tend to make appearances throughout the year. While you're there, I highly recommend checking out more seasonal favorites: I'm particularly excited the return of the Maple Leaf Creme Cookies (September 5) as well as all the budget-friendly fall decor finds I also picked up this week.
