Where is the Tomb in Peak? The Mesa is a cruel, cruel place. A tornado prowls the landscape, ready to throw you into the nearest cactus cluster, tumbleweeds are determined to knock you off your feet, and that's not to mention the sun, which will burn you alive if given half a chance. Deep below the mesa, however, away from these hazards, is the Tomb - and a Golden Bing Bong.
There have been plenty of exciting additions to Peak recently, with the Scout Cannon giving players an easy way to get airborne and the Peak balloons ensuring they don't splat on the way down. The Peak Tomb is a secret area of the Mesa map, and it's well worth seeking out, as it gives you one of the most powerful items in the co-op game.
The Peak Tomb location changes daily, and allegedly sometimes doesn't show up at all, but we found it just after the starting location. You'll find a deep hole between two large rock structures, and if you climb down, you'll be greeted with the entrance to an ancient tomb and a new title card to match.
Make your way down into the Tomb and follow the path; eventually, you will be greeted with a chasm, which leads to the treasure room. The treasure room is fairly sparse, except for a shining golden idol in the center - this is the Golden Bing Bong.
What does the Golden Bing Bong do?
If you manage to traverse the Peak Tomb, you'll be treated to a Golden Idol, or Golden Bing Bong, if you will. This item negates all damage when held, which is extremely overpowered, with the drawback that it weighs nearly as much as your entire health bar. You won't be able to climb, or do much of anything, with the Golden Bing Bong in your possession. At least you won't take any damage.
Now that you know how to find the Peak Tomb, and what the Golden Bing Bong does, make sure to keep your eyes peeled whenever you reach the dusty hell that is the Mesa. For more Peak guides, check out how to revive in Peak and what the Peak Strange Gem does - good luck out there, explorer.
