How do you earn the 24 Karat Badge by offering the kiln a worthy sacrifice in Peak? Now that a new biome has arrived alongside items and achievements, here's everything you need to know about what to sacrifice to the kiln.
When you get to the peak, you can offer the kiln a worthy sacrifice to get the 24 Karat Badge in Peak. By now, you might have tried throwing all sorts of items in there, from the frisbee to Bingbong, and the strange gem you find at the top of the peak behind the mountain. None of these work; the kiln demands a WORTHY sacrifice, and a plush just isn't going to cut it.
Instead, you need to find the Ancient Idol in the Mesa biome. If you've explored this biome already, you'll have noticed it's full of dangers, including cacti you can get stuck on, rapid tornadoes, and pit monsters that lurk throughout. All that is at the same time as trying not to get burned alive by the relentless heat.
Unfortunately, too, the Ancient Idol is a very heavy golden statue found within an underground tunnel system in the Mesa biome. Access to the tunnel was recently bugged, but it looks like it's since been fixed, and you can find the entrance at the beginning of the Mesa biome. You need to throw the Ancient Idol into the kiln to get the achievement.
That's how you get the 24 Karat Badge in Peak. If you're still stuck finding things, here's the Peak capybara location and what the Peak Scoutmaster does.
