World of Warcraft: The War Within has reached its conclusion, and with Midnight lurking on the horizon, Blizzard isn't wasting any time. Ghosts of K'Aresh, TWW's last major update, has finally arrived, and it's absolutely brimming with a whole host of new (and familiar) features, as well as even more story content. Unfinished business awaits you on K'Aresh, and luckily for you, it's available now.

The curtain has fallen on World of Warcraft's latest expansion, with Ghosts of K'Aresh rounding out a busy couple of years for one of the best MMORPGs. There's everything from the new zone K'Aresh and the somewhat familiar player hub of Tazavesh, to the Karesh Trust factions and new items to acquire; it's quite the finale, if I do say so myself.

That's not all, however; there's story content, too, allowing players to travel to the broken world of K'Aresh and experience the epic conclusion to The War Within. Remain vigilant, though, as Dimensius the All-Devouring is threatening to rise once again; battle your way through unexpected alliances and threats from the Void to thwart his ascent.

Exploring K'Aresh will allow you to gather allies such as Alleria Windrunner and her mentor Locus-Walker, who will aid you in the battle against Dimensius. Players can also work towards restoring the ecosphere in eco-domes, go Phase Diving, and so much more as part of this new update.

And it's only the beginning. Ghosts of K'Aresh will herald the beginning of Season 3, set to arrive next Tuesday, August 12. This will include a new 8-boss raid to be found in Manaforge: Omega, alongside a 3-boss dungeon in Eco-Dome Al'dani.

I'd be remiss not to mention Tazavesh, however, a lingering specter of Shadowlands. Now available as a Mythic+ dungeon, the colossal roguelike instance has been reimagined as a player hub, populated by its many merchants and their unrelenting politics. While Shadowlands overall was a pretty 'meh' affair, Tazavesh was one of its high points, so I'm glad it's been given a new lease on life.

K'aresh is waiting to be explored

The World of Warcraft content update Ghosts of K'Aresh (11.2) is out now. Season 3 will launch next Tuesday August 12.
