How do you get an FC 26 beta code? Every year, EA Sports releases a closed beta version of its latest game so that players can test the new gameplay changes and check out the new features. However, getting access isn't as simple as it is for other games.
You'll no doubt see fans of the sports game shouting on social media about being sent a code for the latest beta, but the whole process is very cloak-and-dagger. If you're looking to try the two new gameplay variants in FC 26, we'll explain what you can do to get access to the EA Sports FC 26 closed beta.
Much like in previous years, the FC 26 closed beta is invite-only. EA Sports will choose who they would like to take part in the beta test. If you're one of the lucky ones to be chosen, you'll be sent a code to the email address associated with your EA account. The platform the code will be for will be whatever platform you played FC 25 on predominantly.
The FC 26 closed beta begins at 1pm ET/6pm BST on Wednesday, August 6, and anyone chosen will receive their code before then.
After that date, there is no other way to get a beta code. You simply have to keep your fingers crossed. The selection process has never been detailed by EA Sports, but fans speculate that it has something to do with how much you played the previous year's version.
All modes are included in the beta, but you may only be selected to test some of them.
FC 26 beta end date
Once you have claimed your FC 26 beta code and downloaded the test version, you have three weeks to play as much as you'd like. The FC 26 beta ends at 1pm ET/6pm BST on August 26.
