How to get on the Grounded 2 picnic table

How do you get on the picnic table in Grounded 2? With Brookhollow Park being so much bigger than the original Grounded backyard, there's more to discover than ever - and higher places to reach.

The Grounded 2 picnic table is one such location, and, with so many valuable resources located atop it in the survival game, you're going to want to make your way to the top of this grand climb. Unfortunately, there are some obstacles in the way. Here's how to overcome them and make your way to Grounded 2 blueberries, Raw Science, Milk Molars, and more.

Reaching the top of the Grounded 2 picnic table requires a bit of work and even some special gear. You can get so far by climbing the tablecloth, but you must then traverse spider webs and the inside of a cooler to reach the top.

The cooler can be navigated with just health and bandages if you're fast enough, but you might want to take a Blazin Brew smoothie or some warm armor to be safe.

There are two ways to reach the top of the table. The first is the easiest, while the second requires an Orb Weaver Buggy or sufficient gear and armor. Here's the first:

• Head to the southern corner of the tablecloth.
• Follow the crease - beware of exploding ORC Weevils!
• When you reach the bench, turn back on yourself and head under the tablecloth.
• Follow this path until you come out near a purple container.
• Climb around the edge of this container and jump onto the handle of the croquet mallet.
• Cross the handle to the other bench, where you can open the Grounded 2 briefcase for a bonus challenge.
• Enter the cooler through the small hole on the side.
• Navigate your way to the top via the banana, ice lolly, flask, and popsicle stick.
• You've reached the top of the picnic table - enjoy the view!

Follow these instructions to reach the top of the picnic table if you have an Orb Weaver mount or are strong enough to hold off two fully grown Orb Weavers: 

• Head to the southern corner of the tablecloth
• Follow the crease - beware of exploding ORC Weevils!
• When you reach the bench, head to the far right, where you'll see a spider web bridge.
• Cross this bridge - now beware of Orb Weavers on the other side
• When you reach the other side, cross the platform to another web bridge, and cross that one, too.
• Enter the cooler through the small hole on the side.
• Navigate your way to the top via the banana, ice lolly, flask, and popsicle stick.
• You've reached the top of the picnic table.

The easiest way to use this method is with an Orb Weaver Buggy, as they won't be attacked by fellow Orb Weavers and can traverse webs quickly.

There is a cheeky third way to reach the top of the picnic table in Grounded 2, but this is a bug and could well be patched out at any time. If you aren't ready for the proper way but really want to check out the view from atop the table, keep following the tablecloth from the seat. There is an invisible barrier here, but if you go to the very left of the barrier, as in the image above, you can work your way up past the cork. When you can go no further, jump to the left, and you've reached the summit.
