A new Cyberpunk 2077 crossover has arrived, and this time it's taking to the streets of immersive tactical FPS Arena Breakout: Infinite. Following appearances of the CD Projekt Red RPG in games including Fortnite, Balatro, and Rocket League, it's now made the jump to Morefun's Tarkov-style extraction shooter. With free weapon skins up for grabs and a model of the iconic Rayfield Caliburn to discover, the new event brings a splash of Night City to the world of ABI.
Arena Breakout: Infinite is currently a few weeks into its second season, Crimson Edge, which introduces some notable changes to the FPS game. Among the additions are in-raid storage that gives you a way to secure your most valuable loot, and a ping system to help communication with other players. Now, the previously teased Cyberpunk 2077 collab has just landed as part of its new patch.
Things kick off as soon as you get to the lobby. There are new collaboration events for the free PC game including Neon Nightcap, Night Market Specialities, Twilight Treasure, and the eWater Special, which will pay out with exclusive rewards and beverage bundles. Completing missions will earn you up to three free skins, while the battlepass includes additional cosmetics based on V, Twilight Embers, Arasaka, and The Mox gang.
There are six new reward charms up for grabs - you'll earn ten free draws just from logging in, along with a free military supply first draw when you hit level 30. Perhaps most tantalizing of all is a new red item, the Caliburn model. This shelf-sized version of one of Night City's most recognizable vehicles can be found when you're out in the world, and if you bring it back to your base you'll be able to proudly display it.
That's not all for ABI latest update, though, which also includes a range of other fixes and tweaks. Requirements for certain daily missions have been improved, and the seasonal XP earned from completing tasks has been dramatically increased. Previously in testing, the ability to move items with a double click is now enabled by default, although you're free to change this through the settings. Loot priority, when enabled, has now been increased from one minute to five for eliminated players and bosses "to increase fairness."
The Arena Breakout Infinite x Cyberpunk 2077 event is live now. You can check the full patch notes courtesy of Morefun Games. You'll have to play on the standalone client for now, although the game is set to come to Steam and the Epic Games Store in the future.
