Want to set items to the hotbar in Grounded 2? With so many menus, buttons, and items to sift through, it can be difficult to know where everything is. Whether it's weapons, restoratives, or shields you want to switch between, we can help you quickly set up your Grounded 2 hotbars below.
What you set to your Grounded 2 hotbar is up to you. Different types of weapons are a good call, but you also can't go wrong with food and bandages. For builders, common crafts can speed things up, so check out how to get the silk rope recipe and how to craft the spinning wheel to increase your odds of surviving in the wilderness.
You can set items to the Grounded 2 hotbar by going to the inventory screen. Once you're there, highlight your desired item and press Z to open up the radial menu. Assign your items to whichever slot you like, and you'll see it turn up on your action bar when you're off exploring the world.
Note that item stacks are automatically consolidated through the action bar. For example, if you set spears in your hotbar, these unstackable items count as a single entity on your action bar. This saves you time by automatically sorting through your inventory, keeping all of your spears accessible through one hotkey.
Similarly, identical consumables, like shakes and bandages, take up a single spot on the action bar even if they're scattered around your inventory. What you can't easily do is assign a keybind to these items. Where you place them on the radial menu will dictate the numbered hotkey you use to access it, going clockwise around the radial menu.
Once you're done setting your hotbars in Grounded 2, you might be ready to take on some tougher enemies. Learn how to beat Stinkbugs, Scorpions, and Ladybugs. You'll need to beat all three to upgrade your Omni-Tool.
