If you and a friend could use a new gaming setup, Nvidia is offering the chance to win not one but two Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 gaming laptops with RTX 5080 gaming GPUs, and it's completely free to enter.
On paper, the Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 has everything it needs to earn a spot on our best gaming laptop guide, including the powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, which also has access to Nvidia DLSS 4, including the latest Nvidia multi-frame gen tech. This laptop is worth $3,299, meaning the total price value is north of $6,500, but you need to enter for a chance to win.
This competition is being run on the official Nvidia GeForce account on X (formerly Twitter). To enter, you simply need to follow the account and reply to this post explaining why you need a new gaming laptop while including the hashtag #GeForceSummer in the reply.
We also get a close look at the design of the laptop in a short video posted alongside the competition. Not only does it contain a top-spec GPU, but on the lid of the laptop, there is an AniMe Vision display, which can be used to display a range of animations, GIFs, or even your own custom creations.
Most importantly, though, this laptop is packing that Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 chip, which means you'll also get a GPU with 7,680 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, which will be able to play the latest games at high settings. What's more, it also supports the aforementioned multi frame gen tech, which cleverly uses AI to insert up to three extra frames after each one that's rendered by your GPU, enabling you to hit super-high frame rates, as long as your starting frame rate is high enough.
