Oasis Reunion Terror Risk - Teen Charged With Alleged Attack Plot

Oasis Reunion Rocked by Terror Threat - Teen Charged With Planning Opening Night Attack (Report)
A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with a terror plot allegedly targeting the opening night of Oasis' Live '25 reunion tour.
The teen, who remains anonymous due to his age, was arrested last month after authorities were alerted to what they described as a “credible plan” for violence tied to the concert.
According to The Times, the Welsh teenager researched how to obtain large knives, kept a list of “places to attack” on his phone, and had downloaded an al-Qaeda training manual, which he admitted to possessing in court.

He also allegedly praised convicted mass killer Axel Rudakubana in Snapchat messages, and told his school guidance counselor he wanted to carry out a “Rudakubana-style attack.”
Both the counselor and a Snapchat user reported him, triggering the criminal investigation.
The teen was arrested and pleaded guilty to possessing a document useful for terrorism during a June 21 hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
The judge ordered a psychiatric evaluation ahead of sentencing.
U.K. police emphasized that public safety is the top priority, and Oasis’ upcoming tour dates are set to continue as planned.
Who Is Axel Rudakubana?
Rudakubana, now serving more than 50 years in prison, carried out a horrifying stabbing spree at a Southport shopping center in July 2024.
Just 17 at the time, he attacked a Taylor Swift-themed children’s dance class, killing 9-year-old Alice Da Silva Aguiar, 7-year-old Elsie Dot Stancombe, and 6-year-old Bebe King. He also injured eight others.
Due to his age, Rudakubana could not receive a life-without-parole sentence.
