The people have spoken, and McDonald's listened. Starting July 10, McDonald's Snack Wraps return to the menu for the first time since 2016. Plus, customers can order the wrap in two new flavors.

What Is a Snack Wrap?

Originally added to the menu in 2006, the McDonald's Snack Wrap features crispy chicken breast, shredded lettuce, cheese, and sauce, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. While the concept may seem simple, the Snack Wrap's following is passionate and dedicated. After McDonald's removed the Snack Wrap from menus in 2016 (with the item completely discontinued 4 years later), people began voicing their opinions.

From petitions to social media accounts dedicated to reviving the Snack Wrap, the item's cult following has finally achieved its victory. Not only is the Snack Wrap back, but it's back on menus permanently. For only $3, customers can get their beloved Snack Wraps once again.

New Snack Wrap Flavors

Differing from the original version, the new and improved Snack Wraps are now available in spicy and ranch flavors. While the chicken, lettuce, cheese, and tortilla are the same, the difference is in the sauce. As the name suggests, the Ranch Snack Wrap features creamy Ranch sauce, while the Spicy Snack Wrap is filled with Spicy Pepper sauce. Avid McDonald's customers may recognize the hot sauce from the Spicy McCrispy sandwich.

Other New Menu Items

Along with the Snack Wrap's return, other items are hitting the McDonald's menu for the first time. New spicy breakfast items, like the Spicy McMuffin and the Spicy Sausage McMuffin (with or without an egg) will be available for purchase in participating stores.
