Brother INKvestment printers launch: New all-in-one models start at $279.99

Working from home often means making your workspace do more with less room. Between your laptop, monitor, chargers, and everything else fighting for desk space, a bulky office printer can feel like the last thing you need.

Brother’s new INKvestment all-in-one printer series is designed to solve that problem, bringing business-focused printing features to smaller home offices and small businesses without the oversized footprint. The new lineup includes two wireless color inkjet models — the MFC-J5010DW and MFC-J5110DW — with starting prices of $279.99 and $359.99, respectively.

Both models combine printing, scanning, copying, and faxing with features like automatic two-sided printing, mobile controls and higher-yield ink designed to keep interruptions to a minimum. They also support WiFi, WiFi Direct, Ethernet, and USB, along with cloud printing and scanning through apps like Google Drive and Dropbox.

Brother INKvestment 5010 Wireless All-in-One Printer

The Brother INKvestment MFC-J5010DW is a compact all-in-one printer built for home offices. It comes with high-yield ink included in the box — a 1,800-page black cartridge and 750-page cyan, yellow and magenta cartridges — helping you spend less time swapping cartridges. For everyday productivity, it packs a 250-sheet paper tray, 50-page single-pass duplex automatic document feeder, and automatic two-sided printing with support for paper sizes up to 8.5 x 14 inches.

Powered by Brother’s Maxidrive Technology, the MFC-J5010DW can print up to 28 pages per minute in black and 26 ppm in color. You can also manage settings from your phone using the Brother Mobile Connect app, while the 2.7-inch color touchscreen keeps on-device controls simple.

The Brother INKvestment MFC-J5110DW is built for busier home offices and small businesses that need more than occasional printing. The MFC-J5110DW comes with a 500-sheet paper capacity split between two trays, so you can keep different paper types loaded without constantly swapping them out. It also includes a 100-sheet multipurpose tray for things like envelopes, labels, and specialty media.

For scanning and copying, it has a 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF) with single-pass duplex scanning, meaning it can handle both sides of a document in one go. It also supports automatic two-sided printing to help cut down on paper waste. The printer also uses Brother’s PerfectPrint Auto Detection System to help keep print quality consistent, whether you’re printing reports, presentations, or everyday documents.
