If you're one of the many enjoyers of football games on PC, then the Madden 26 system requirements will be of particular interest. It's another EA Sports game that comes with a relatively low barrier to entry, to the point where the requirements haven't actually changed since last year's game.
As much as I love playing sports games on PC, it's often the case that the PC versions of these games tend to be stripped back compared to their console counterparts. This trend has changed somewhat, and now games like Madden 26 don't look or play a whole lot different, with cross-play being the biggest barrier that was recently knocked down.
Here are the Madden 26 system requirements:
Minimum | Recommended | |
OS | Windows 10 or later | Windows 10 or later |
GPU | Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti AMD Radeon RX 570 |
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT |
VRAM | 4GB | 8GB |
CPU | Intel Core i7 6700K AMD Ryzen 5 1600 |
Intel Core i7 8700K AMD Ryzen 7 2700X |
RAM | 10GB | 12GB |
Storage | 65GB | 65GB |
Notes | DirectX 12 Broadband Internet connection required for certain game modes |

The Madden 26 system requirements mimic those of Madden 25 down to the file size. It's not too surprising given how sports games tend to use the same engine for a few years, only making minor changes to how certain aspects of the gameplay work, and these seldom call for changes to hardware demands.
That being said, the minimum and recommended specs are both quite low, showing that getting Madden 26 to run on a relatively modern gaming PC or laptop won't be too much trouble.
When looking at the Madden 26 minimum requirements, there's nothing to trouble any gaming PC or laptop from the last five years, with only an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and AMD Radeon RX 570 listed as graphics cards alongside an Intel Core i7 6700K and AMD Ryzen 5 1600 as the selected CPUs.
The Madden 26 recommended specs are worth placing the most emphasis on, however, as history suggests that if you can meet these, you'll be able to run the game at 60fps using the high graphical preset at either 1080p or 1440p, based on my time playing last year's installment. Officially, however, there are no performance targets provided.
You'll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card alongside an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X gaming CPU to achieve this performance level. You'll also need 12GB of RAM, a figure that is below the expected 16GB we tend to see from most modern 3D games, even at the minimum tier.
As for the Madden 26 download size, it's listed as 65GB, with no requirement for an SSD. However, we encourage upgrading to an SSD if you haven't already, as this will greatly boost game load times compared to a hard drive.
