This from-scratch spin on a grocery store favorite balances the heat of habanero chiles with the sweetness of fresh mango. Top the homemade guacamole with sliced jalapeño peppers for a touch more spice. Habaneros can vary drastically in heat level, so adjust the volume of chopped habanero to your preference. Or substitute a few dashes of habanero hot sauce.

  • 1 medium mango, peeled, pitted, and finely chopped

  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped red onion

  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped red bell pepper

  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh jalapeño pepper

  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh habanero pepper

  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions
