Key Takeaways

  • Dunkin’ is rumored to be testing 48-ounce iced coffee and Refresher buckets at select locations.
  • The buckets feature a snap-seal lid and a large straw.
  • Those who have seen the buckets say prices start at $7.

Iced coffee buckets made their mark on social media last summer—independent coffee shops all across the country added enormous buckets of iced coffee to their menus, perfect for bringing to the beach or sharing with friends. Now, Dunkin’ might be getting ready to add coffee buckets to the official menu just in time for Summer 2026.

What Comes in a Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Bucket?

Each large coffee bucket features the Dunkin’ logo on the side, a lid with a snap-on seal, and an enormous straw to match. The buckets hold a whopping 48 ounces of Dunkin’ drink; if you’re used to ordering a 16-ounce, then one bucket has enough coffee to share with two of your friends.

Iced coffee buckets are most popular in the summer, when customers can tote them around to cool down on a hot day. Since Dunkin’ is testing them in the middle of winter, it’s possible the chain is hoping to launch the new buckets later this summer, when customers are most likely to buy them.

Refresher Bucket

Rumor is you can also snag a Dunkin’ Refresher in a bucket instead of coffee. Prices range from $7 to $10, according to those who have seen the buckets for themselves, though the price depends on which drink you order.

“That’s what I want when I say [I’d] like a large iced coffee,” said a commenter on @markie_devo’s Instagram post. “My cup holders aren’t big enough for this,” joked another Instagram user.

Where to Get a Dunkin' Bucket

Reportedly, the new Dunkin’ coffee buckets are available at less than ten locations right now—and those Dunkin’ stores are already running out fast. If you live in Massachusetts or New Hampshire, you’re in luck—these are currently the only two states that have access to the Dunkin’ buckets.

Right now, Dunkin’ is still in the test phase for its coffee buckets, which is why they’re only available at select locations. If the coffee buckets are a success with customers, then it’s likely that Dunkin’ will add them to the menu, possibly as a limited-time item.

It’s no secret that Dunkin’ fans want the iced drink buckets to become available nationwide. On social media, customers are begging the chain to add it to their summer menu. Given the current success of the test launch, we wouldn’t be surprised if they joined Dunkin’s official lineup soon.
