So far, however, we've had to content ourselves with the loose 'late 2025' launch window but, according to a new report, we might finally have an exact release date.

After coming back from Summer Game Fest, my colleague Jamie found Crimson Desert to be one of his favorite games from the entire show. In his preview he waxes lyrical about the medieval open world, incredible combat, and ludicrous skills on offer. There are some problems with the control scheme, which is in some ways overly complex, but Pearl Abyss' latest is easily shaping up to be one of the best RPGs of the year.

Now, according to Korean news outlet MTN, Pearl Abyss has locked in the Crimson Desert release date. Barring any changes, Crimson Desert will apparently launch on Sunday November 2.
