Pimento Mac and Cheese Rolls are a delicious appetizer you can make in the air fryer. You only need three key ingredients—cheese spread, small shell pasta, and lumpia wrappers. Lumpia wrappers are made with wheat flour like egg roll wrappers, but much thinner. Look for them in the freezer section of Asian markets. Once you have everything you need for this simple recipe, you'll have a delicious dish ready to eat in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 6 frozen lumpia wrappers

  • 1 (10- to 12-oz.) container pimento cheese spread

  • 1 cup dried ditalini or small shell pasta, cooked according to pkg. directions

  • Nonstick cooking spray

  • Paprika (optional)

Directions

  1. Thaw lumpia wrappers according to package directions. In a medium bowl fold together pimento cheese spread and cooked pasta.

  2. For each cheese roll, place a lumpia wrapper on a work surface with a corner pointing toward you. Spoon 1/3 cup filling onto wrapper just below center. Fold bottom corner of wrapper over filling, tucking it underneath. Fold in opposite corners. Brush remaining side of wrapper with water; roll up tightly to seal. Coat rolls generously with cooking spray.

  3. Working in batches if needed, arrange rolls in a single layer in air-fryer basket. Cook at 375°F, turning once halfway through, until crisp, 9 to 10 minutes. Keep cooked rolls warm in a 200°F oven, if necessary. If you like, sprinkle with paprika before serving.
