How to get into the Mall in Routine

How do you access the Mall in Routine? One of the first stops on your mission to shut down the ASN is the Mall, Union Plaza's leisure quarter. There's just one problem. While you can travel to the Mall via the tram, the lockdown is still in effect, which means everything beyond the Mall Station is locked up tight.

Lockdown or not, the Mall is not an optional objective in Routine. It includes several key locations in the horror game, including Megazone, O'Neill's Electronics, and the Security Office. You can find clues to the whereabouts of Kei Koyama, and pick up an essential CAT module while you're at it. You're going to have to find a way in sooner or later, so skip the head-scratching and let us walk you through how to access the Mall.

To access the Mall, head to the check-in terminals just past the reception desk and interact with Terminal 08. Press the login button, then enter your login ID: 5708.

Your ID number is displayed on your suit's breastplate, so all you need to do is look down to view it. After your login is validated, select either business or pleasure as your reason for visiting the Mall. It doesn't really matter which you choose here - press the finish button to prompt the elevator.

After the error message pops up, head back to the reception desk and press the red button labelled 'push for assistance' to reactivate the IC robot. Wait for it to look at the terminal, then follow it out of reception and through the 'no entry' barrier that leads to the staff-only ladder access.

Congratulations, you're officially in the Mall! Bad news - a Type 05 robot is about to plasma-cut its way through the security door. Your only way out of this room is to get past it, so stay low, and good luck.
