Grab our favorite Razer gaming mouse for work and play at is lowest ever price this Black Friday weekend

While Black Friday itself may have passed, it's a whole weekend of sales, and this Razer gaming mouse deal proves there are still bargains out there worth hunting for. It might not have quite the esteem of its wireless counterpart, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, which currently holds the crown of the best mouse for work and gaming on our best gaming mouse guide, but it does share many of its best qualities and at a fraction of the price.

As we found in our Razer Basilisk V3 review, Razer's wired V3 model is "a fantastic gaming mouse" thanks in part to its customizability and comfortable grip. It isn't the latest Razer gaming mouse by a long shot, but the Basilisk V3 is a great budget gaming mouse, especially when it's retailing at only $29.44.

The big appeal of this mouse is its versatility. With 11 programmable buttons and a clever scroll wheel that lets you switch between a notched feel and a really fast-spinning, smooth-scrolling feel, it's fantastic for boosting your productivity when working, as well as having loads of uses for gaming too. Whether you're fast-scrolling through a long document or speedily zooming in and out of an in-game map, the scroll wheel in particular is so useful.

Of all the extra buttons, the precision aim button on the left-hand side is one that particularly comes in handy. When held down, it temporarily reduces the sensitivity of the mouse, making for a convenient way to boost your accuracy. For games that require pixel-perfect clicks or when I need to carefully edit something in Photoshop, the precision aim button is an absolute godsend. You can, of course, also change what the button does in Synapse alongside the other 10 buttons if you want complete control over your setup.

At just under 101g (3.56 ounces), the Razer Basilisk V3 definitely doesn't qualify as an ultra-light gaming mouse, but it's far from being a true heavyweight either, compared to some mice - yes, we're looking at you, MX Master 4 and Corsair M65 RGB Ultra Wireless. Still, if you're used to the likes of the Glorious Model O Eternal or the Corsair M75 Air and are looking for a fleet-footed mouse for competitive FPS gaming, this probably won't be the option for you.

Originally costing $69.99 and more recently selling for around $45, you can now grab a Razer Basilisk V3 wired mouse for just $29.44 via this link until the end of Cyber Monday. There's no telling how long it'll be before it next comes down in price like this.
