Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 system requirements

The Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 system requirements aren't too demanding to start with, but they slowly morph into a much more intimidating beast once you start cranking up the settings in this medieval RPG. Thankfully, though, the release of its third DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae, hasn't changed its requirements, so if you were able to run the initial game just fine, you'll have no problem enjoying the whole saga.

If you wish to bear arms and avenge yourself in this 15th-century RPG experience, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has a relatively low bar to entry, making it easy for older or budget gaming PCs to run the game, even if you don't have the very best graphics card from the latest generation. That said, you will need to consider a pretty hefty upgrade if you want to run the game at 1440p or 4K resolution, as an older card like the GTX 1060 will only manage the bare minimum settings.

Here are the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 system requirements:

If you're concerned whether or not your gaming PC has the mettle to battle through medieval Bohemia, you can take our Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 system requirements PC benchmark test to answer… Can I run Kingdom Come Deliverance 2?

All things considered, the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 minimum system requirements are pretty reasonable. To get this game running at 1080p with a target 30fps frame rate, you'll need at least an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card, along with an Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 gaming CPU, and 16GB of RAM.

While this is great news for older rigs, the game might end up feeling as choppy as your sword throws if you're only getting 30fps, and it'll likely get worse during large-scale battles. 60fps is, realistically, the modern frame rate you should be aiming for, so long as it's within budget.

This is where KCD2 diverges from your average system requirements list, splitting the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 recommended specs into four benchmarks: two for 1080p and two for 1440p on the medium and high graphics presets. On the medium graphics preset, you'll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card, with an Intel Core i5 13600K or AMD Ryzen 5 7600X for your CPU, and 24GB of RAM for a 1080p resolution. For 1440p, you'll need the slightly more powerful RTX 3060 Ti or Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU.

Paradoxically, developer Warhorse Studios recommends slightly worse specs for your CPU and GPU when it comes to the high graphics preset, aiming for just 30fps on 1080p with an Intel Core i5 12600K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5700 GPU. The RAM requirements are harsher, with an upgrade to 32GB holding you back from the best Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 settings.

With an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card, and an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, you'll achieve 60fps at 1440p according to the developers. Yet even this isn't enough hardware to run the game at its best.

The Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 ultra requirements really ratchet up the pressure, requiring some of the latest and most expensive hardware to run. Achieving either 60fps at 1440p or 30fps at 4K will require an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900XT. As for the CPU, an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D will get the job done, along with 32GB of RAM.

You'll need at least 100GB to satisfy the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 download size requirements, with Warhorse Studios confirming that an SSD is required. It isn't too surprising that an SSD is required, given the hardware you need to polish this gem of a medieval RPG to a royal shine, so make sure you grab the best gaming SSD from our buying guide to boost your storage capacity.
