Asus is releasing a marshmallow keyboard and scented mouse, but I need to see s'more
Asus is no stranger to dabbling in cutesy gaming gear, but its latest additions to the PC peripheral market are on another level. Meet the Asus Marshmallow Keyboard and Asus Fragrance Mouse.
While these aren't strictly contenders for our best gaming mouse and best gaming keyboard guides - they're not really gaming peripherals at all - they still have me super intrigued as to what on earth they're all about.
Starting with the product that does live up to its name, the Asus Fragrance Mouse MD100 really is a mouse that you can add a fragrance to. It includes a refillable scent compartment that you can fill with your choice of essential oil, eau de parfum, or whatever other odorants you desire. It has been out for a while in Asia, but it's only now that you'll be able to buy it in the States.

This compact and curvaceous mouse also boasts PTFE feet for a smooth glide, DPI levels of 800, 1,000, and 1,600, and switches that are rated to last ten million clicks. Plus, this Bluetooth rodent will last 12 months on a single AA battery.
Available in Iridescent White or Rose Clay colors, the Asus Marshmallow Mouse MD100 is priced at $59.99 and is available at the Asus eShop via this link as well as at Microcenter.
As for the Asus Marshmallow Keyboard KW100, this is devastatingly devoid of any sweet treats, with the marshmallowiness merely coming from the rounded shape of the compact keeb.
Sporting a 75% form factor, this keyboard is smaller and with fewer keys than a full-size unit. Instead, its layout is more like that of a smaller laptop keyboard, and in fact, the keys themselves are a laptop style too, with a low-profile keycap design.

Like the MD100 mouse, this is a Bluetooth wireless keyboard, and this time, its two AAA batteries enable it to last a full two years between battery swaps. It's a very simple keyboard, with no backlighting and no gaming extras, instead relying purely on its charming looks and basic typing performance to convince you into a purchase.
Available in Iridescent White, Rose Clay, Oat Milk, and Green Tea Latte, the KW100 is also priced at $59.99 and available via Asus' shop - using this link - and MicroCenter, though not all color options are available in both stores.
If you buy either of these from Asus' store before November 11, 2025, you can get $5 off.
Meanwhile, if you want a more gaming-capable yet compact recommendation for an Asus gaming mouse, check out the Harpe Ace Mini, which offers truly cutting-edge specs.
