The new Amazon Echo Dot Max is now available for $99.99

In February 2025, Amazon announced its revamped voice assistant called Alexa+. The AI-powered assistant can do more than ever before, including holding conversations, drafting messages, and analyzing documents. With all of these new capabilities, Amazon announced a new collection of Echo devices to support Alexa+ in September of this year.

One of those devices was the Amazon Echo Dot Max, which is available to purchase as of Oct. 29. Amazon seems to have done away with its classic Echo, now offering the Echo Dot Max, a device with a similar look and the exact price point of the former Echo.

It's just slightly bigger than Amazon's popular Echo Dot, a small but powerful speaker. The Echo Dot Max is capable of filling large spaces, and in addition to built-in Alexa, it has an included smart home hub. It has a 0.8-inch tweeter and a 2.5-inch woofer to support lossless, high-definition audio, even adapting to the room it's in to provide the best sound possible.

Alongside the new Echo device come two new accessories, a wall mount and a charging stand.
