Phasmophobia Challenge Mode quests this week
Phasmophobia Challenge Mode quests this week
What is this week's Phasmophobia Challenge Mode quest? We still can't get enough of Phasmophobia. Ghost hunting and paranormal activity are and always will be among the most intriguing subject matters. Ghostbusters hasn't stood the test of time for no reason, you know.
Because of how it treats the subject, Phasmophobia remains one of the most demanding and difficult out there, even after all these years. Even if you've been playing the terrifying horror game since launch, you can still get the heebie jeebies from a poorly timed ghost event or deadly hunt. If you're really hard, though, and insist you need a greater task, Phasmo's weekly Challenge mode could be the way to go, providing a predetermined loadout and set of rules to stick to.

This week's Challenge Mode quest is Technophilia, and is one of the most fun - if not most overwhelming - challenge mode quests.
In this week's challenge, you are given the top tier of almost every item. This, of course, is great news: this gear is the best of the bunch, and it's far better at locating and identifying the ghost type. However, it can be a little mystifying for players who haven't unlocked much of this stuff yet, and it might take a few investigations to get used to. What's more, the ghost writing notebook is considered among the "prehistoric items" banned in this challenge, so you can't obtain that as evidence.
The Phasmophobia Challenge Mode quest rotates every Sunday at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT and every Monday at 1am BST, and next week's challenge is No Evidence. Yep, you guessed it, this tricky challenge doesn't grant you the usual evidence, so you'll have to rely solely on your knowledge of ghost types and their behavior.

How to play Challenge Mode
To access Phasmophobia Challenge Mode, go to start a single-player game, then click on the difficulty box. There, you can choose Challenge Mode among the other difficulties. This is where you can see the current challenge.
Once selected, you can then choose the appropriate map. While you can play Challenge Mode in any map, you won't complete the challenge or earn the rewards for playing in a different map from the one specified in the challenge. If the challenge map is a particularly large one, for example, you could always practice on a smaller one first.
Now you know what this week's Challenge Mode quest is, it's time to lock in with whatever gear is at your disposal and try your best to stay alive. If you need a little help, consult our guide on all 24 Phasmo ghost types, remind yourself how to use the Phasmophobia Spirit Box, or find out what a little dirty water in the sink means.
