The Memorial Day sales are winding down, but there are still some pretty good deals out there on everything from speakers to TVs.

The Sony SRS-XB100 is compact, lightweight, and surprisingly powerful for its size. I’ve had this speaker for about a year now, and it’s still my go-to whenever I’m at the beach, lounging by the pool, or want to listen to some tunes in the shower. I just pop it in my bag, and I’m good to go.

It can play for up to 16 hours on a single charge, and it charges via a USB-C port. (So even if you forget your charger, your phone charger could work.) It also has an IP67 rating, so it’s dustproof and waterproof. (I can attest to its durability; I take it to the beach every time I go.)

The only issue I’ve had with this speaker is that if it’s connected to another device, you’ll need to disconnect it before connecting to another. It doesn’t let you switch between devices as easily as some other Bluetooth speakers do. Still, $38 for a great-sounding portable Bluetooth speaker is hard to beat.
