Samsung's latest smartphone, the ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge, officially lands on May 30. But if scoring a great deal matters more to you than sleekness, look to the lower end of the Galaxy S25 lineup: The base model just hit its lowest price ever.
As of May 28, the 128GB Samsung Galaxy S25 is on sale for just $624.99 at Amazon and Best Buy — a 22% discount on its $799.99 MSRP. (That makes it almost half the price of the cheapest Galaxy S25 Edge, which starts at $1,099.99.) Note that Amazon's deal only applies to the Mint Galaxy S25, while Best Buy has it in both Mint and Silver Shadow. The Navy and Icyblue variants are $50 more.
The Galaxy S25 landed this past February with a slightly lighter design and more RAM than its predecessor, last year's Galaxy S24. (It now comes with 12GB of memory instead of 8GB.) It also runs on a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor that's better at handling AI tasks and staying cool. Otherwise, its 6.2-inch AMOLED display, three-camera setup, and 4,000mAh battery have all carried over from the previous generation. The most eligible upgraders will be coming from a Galaxy S23 model or older.
