Grab Wo Long Fallen Dynasty and all DLC at its lowest price yet

Combining the heavyweight, impactful action of Dark Souls with the fast-paced hack-and-slash nature of Dynasty Warriors might sound like a strange idea, but Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is likely one of the best soulslikes I've ever played. Bringing a delicate balance of intense fights with plenty of challenge, it's a great game that is deserving of your time (and your frustration), especially when it's hit its lowest price with all DLC included.

Developed by the masterminds behind some of the best action games, Team Ninja, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty delivers the exhilarating combat that the studio is known for. It's more similar to FromSoftware's Sekiro than it is Dark Souls, but with a greater variety in how you approach combat, as well as how you build your character out.

Much like its Dynasty Warriors cousins, Wo Long follows a loose adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms that throws in a hefty dollop of magic and spooky creatures for good measure. Creating your own character to dive into this unique take on the Three Kingdoms, you're thrust into a realm at risk by the demon-infested Yellow Turban Rebellion. Admittedly, it skips over some major Three Kingdoms plot points in favor of streamlining the experience, but it's simply a vessel for the excellent combat at play.

The game offers all the familiar traits of any of Team Ninja's best RPGs. You have lots of different armor, a full character customization menu, various stats and attributes to build out, and loads of weapons to find and master, allowing you to create a true warrior - one that will still undoubtedly fall at the foes ahead, especially with how hard some of the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty bosses can be.

It's been a few years since its release, meaning it's had plenty of balance and bug-fixing updates, but our Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty review was positive from the start. In it, Dave Irwin called the game a "thoroughly enjoyable soulslike with intensely fun combat mechanics."

If you've been waiting for the right time to finally dive into this underloved soulslike, you can grab Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition for just $31.79 / £29.14 at Fanatical, the lowest price the RPG and all its DLC have ever been. The Battle of Zhongyuan DLC is pretty good, though I always thought it was a bit overpriced, so this is a great way to get it.
